Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty

At Liang & Rudolf quality is our top priority. Every piece is checked thoroughly before it is marked as Liang & Rudolf jewellery. We stand firmly behind our products and warrant that all items will be free from manufacturing defects for their lifetime.

If you have any reason to believe that your jewellery has a manufacturing defect, please contact us for assistance at quality@liangrudolf.com. Our Quality Assurance team will be in touch within 3 working days to instruct you on how to return the product to us for an inspection. Please note that any product returned to us without our consent will be rejected on delivery.

If we determine your jewellery is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it as we see appropriate. Once replaced or repaired, we will return the jewellery to you, of course, without any additional charges and we will also refund the shipping cost that you have paid to return the item to us (as long as the item was returned to us via the shipping service that we requested).

However if we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will notify you with the cost for repair. You can choose to repair it with us or you can choose to have us ship the item back to you unrepaired. Please note that when the damage is determined not manufacturing related, we reserve the right to charge you for the shipping fee that occurs when we send the jewellery back to you.

Please note that slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship or the natural characteristic of pearls are unique and individual to each item. These characteristics are considered as part of the character of the jewellery, and should not be considered a defect.

Terms & Conditions

Fine jewellery is not immune to wear and tear. Our warranty does not cover damages caused by normal wear, product loss or theft. Some examples of nonmanufacturing related defects are as follows:

  1. Discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, bathing, perfume or makeup.
  2. Pearls that have fallen out from impact or trauma.
  3. Scratching on the surface of the jewellery. This is especially common in rings due to the fact that hands are subjected to regular use.
  4. Discoloration of metal due to prolonged exposure to air and moisture. Contrary to popular belief, it is possible for gold used in fine jewellery to discolour due to its purity. In our case we use exclusively 18Karat Gold which means it has 75% gold in the total metal compound. To avoid this, it is recommend that the jewellery is kept in a dry and fairly airtight place when not worn.

If you wish to be taken care of, please contact us at c are@liangrudolf.com and our care department will get back to you generally within 3 working days.

Please note that to use this service you will be responsible for all shipping costs to send the item to us and for us to return to you.
